Honestly, when were first asked to brand the 2008 Zoobilation Ball, we thought the ‘Monkey Business’ theme was a little corny. But sometimes, a change in perspective makes the difference. Our first few quick sketches of a monkey’s face using oval shapes didn’t quite work. But after a break, we literally saw the drawings from a different angle and there was the solution we were looking for: a zero and the number eight, designating the year. So by simply using a bold typeface and turning 08 sideways a monkey’s face magically appeared!
